UX
What’s my story?
Browsing the Internet in 2002 was a very different experience. We had Yahoo GeoCities, hit counters, scrolling text marquees, guestbooks, and some very intense backgrounds. Coincidentally that was the year I created my first website and became a Webmaster.
The Internet has since evolved.
I can say the same about my experience.
I like to think of my experience as a journey. My journey started in my bedroom when I was a teenager (in 2002), hand-building websites using raw HTML. Back in those days, it felt like a mystical art.
I can proudly say that I have worked with amazing people over the years, and I have learned from a few great mentors. UX is my focus, but I have added quite a few other strings to my bow. I can design, write and present ideas.
What’s my approach?
When I start working on a project, I define the problem. I ask questions to build a story of our users, business goals and technical challenges. I find solutions by collaborating with product stakeholders and developers.
I use insights to design delightful experiences.
-
I can lead product teams through the design journey from a rough wireframe to a finished high-fidelity design.
-
I build stories of our users, and I take the time to understand everything there is to know about the target personas. I test and validate my designs with usability testing software like Maze and Usability Hub (Lyssna).
-
Design is a collaborative process, and I have experience running workshops to bring everyone together. My workshops are often a whiteboard session, exploring the product vision, business goals, technical challenges and release milestones.
