In an effort to keep my blogging as active as possible, and yet still maintain a solid degree of quality post content on my blog here, I decided to engage with Posterous – the perfect solution.

Initially, I was drawn to Posterous by the beautiful minimal default layout. With only a little customisation and editing, I had myself a ready to go Posterous blog. I plan on using it as a middle ground between my twitter, and my main blog. Usually, when I tweet something I want to share with people, it gets quickly washed away in the sea of tweets. But now, when I post something on my Posterous, it automatically shares it with twitter – so at least there is a point of reference for people to go back to revisit and maybe even add their comments.

» Visit my Posterous microblog

But for once, it’s nice to be saying something positive about the monolithic giants that are Microsoft. I stumbled upon this video below, which is part of a series of video’s depicting Microsoft’s vision for the future. Impressive stuff, check it out…

ffffound.com is a really cool, new image bookmarking website that is currently only accessible via invite only as it’s still in beta stage. It’s a lot like del.icio.us, except for images, and a LOT cooler and more interesting.

As a designer, this site could consume hours of my time, as I look on in awe of the beautiful graphics uploaded by talented designers. But guess what?! I haven’t been lucky enough to get an invite yet for ffffound! So, if you, or anyone else you know has any invites… hook me up?

Just some examples of the beautiful graphics you can see on ffffound.com:
