Banksy: Beyond Street Art
If you are a regular blog reader of mine, then you may recall my previous post about Banksy, the British street artist. Banksy is however much more than just a famous street artist, he is an artist, and street art is just one form of his art.
Banksy is known for his distinctive stenciling style, that is reminiscent of Blek Le Rat, the artist from the 80′s. In my previous post I presented some of my favourite pieces of his outdoor street art. This time I’ve been looking more at his indoor art, and wanted to show some of my favourite pieces of his work.
Some of them are pretty controversial, but that’s what real art is all about, isn’t it?
These ones above are pretty “PG” compared to some of the ones listed on his Indoor art section of his website, but if you fancy a nosy have a look here.
